Practicals is also an important component of the curricula alongwith the theory. Practicals are conducted in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies and Biology for effective teaching and assimilation by the students. Fully equipped laboratories are available for the purpose. A suitable place has been earmarked for a modern language laboratory, which will be commissioned in due course of time.
The College possesses a library, with a capacity for expansion, to cater for intellectual advancement of the students as well as teachers. The books encompass a wide area of disciplines,with greater emphasis on Science.
Parents are kept informed of the progress of their wards. Regular meetings are arranged between parents and teachers to keep them informed of the progress of the cadets.
The Cadets’ Mess contains a spacious dining hall. The Mess is managed by the cadets and supervised by the management. A Mess Committee draws up programs for the weekly menu of the mess. The Mess Committee is presided by the Principal / Vice Principal. Care is taken that the meals are balanced wholesome and tasty.
There are different houses of the students and the cadets are distributed among these houses in the campus. The dormitories are spacious, well-furnished, hygienic and compatible to high standards of the College. Each house has an Ante-room for the cadets to assemble in their free time. It is provided with TV set, newspapers, magazines and periodicals for reading and exchange of ideas or mutual discussions on various topics. This creates atmosphere of oneness, friendship and mutual cooperation.
A spacious and well furnished cafeteria, alongwith a Tuck Shop, is available for the cadets to enable them to have refreshments as well as buy small items of daily use. (It also serves as a meeting place for the parents when they visit their wards). A standard Auditorium; which provide complete facilities for holding various functions and programs of the cadets in the College; including week-end movies.
A fully equipped Medical Inspection Room, consisting of qualified and well experienced medical personnel remains functional in the College round the clock. Treatment of minor ailments is provided immediately in the M.I. Room. In all other cases, the cadets are shifted to a full-fledged hospital, namely, Fatima Hospital, attached to Baqai Medical University; where the boys are promptly attended by senior medical officers. If deemed necessary, the cadets concerned are also referred to specialist for treatment. Parents are invariably informed of illness/injury of the cadets. The expenditure incurred on hospitalization /specialist fee is to be borne by the parents. All possible measures are adopted for the safety of the cadets during their stay in the College Campus. However, the College shall not be held responsible for any kind of accidents / mishap causing physical harm or injury. Some cadets join the College with certain past medical illness history,not detected at the time of admission. Such ailments usually aggravate with the passage of time and require specialized treatment/hospitalization, etc. The College management arranges for their treatment in consultation with their parents, who pay for it. If certain parents prefer the treatment of their sons/wards under their own supervision by the doctors of their choice and wish to take away the boys for treatment, etc, they are generally allowed to do so.
The number of holidays and term-breaks is specified in the college calendar. Cadets are advised to avail only the specified holidays and breaks. The parents/guardians are responsible for the safe arrival in College and safe journey back home of their wards. Leave other than the holidays notified by the College, will not be granted except in very exceptional circumstances of genuine nature. No leave will be granted for attending wedding and other functions except the wedding of real brothers and sisters.
Cadets are allowed to visit their homes during long weekend leave as per college calendar of events, which is issued in advance. Relevant extracts are given to the parents well in advance for information and necessary action.
Parents are allowed to visit their wards in the college campus as per college calendar of events.The frequency of the visit shall generally be once in fortnight. Parents and guests will be allowed to see the cadets ONLY on specified Sundays. The College will issue a detailed term programme, and the days on which the parents can come and meet the cadets.
The following items of clothing will be supplied by the college on advance payment at the time of admission and thereafter with the FIRST QUARTER of fee schedule for the subsequent years:

The Executive Committee awards scholarships to the cadets on the basis of the results of Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Karachi to which the College is affiliated. This award is on annual basis and may be withdrawn for unsatisfactory progress or conduct of the cadets concerned.
